Creamy Bacon Carbonara

4 eggs
1/2 cup cream
2/3 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 lb. bacon
1 small onion (optional)
1/2 lb. pasta

Beat eggs, cream, parmesan, salt, and pepper flakes in a bowl. Dice the bacon; fry bacon and onion until bacon is crisp and onion is translucent and set aside. Cook and drain pasta. Pour cream mixture into warm past and stir over LOW heat for 1-2 minutes. (Don't do this on high or it will scramble the eggs.) Add bacon/onion. Serve with additional parmesan, crusty bread, and salad. Adapted from a recipe from Pinterest.
