Tomato Basil Pizza

A favorite in the summertime when fresh tomatoes and basil are available from the backyard.

1 Prepared pizza crust (I buy frozen pizza dough in bulk from Sams Club deli) thawed and shaped to pizza pan
 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
2/3 cup real mayonnaise
2 tbsp snipped fresh basil leaves
1 garlic clove, pressed (or minced from a jar)
4 plum tomatoes

Preheat oven to 425°F. Bake pizza crust 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove pizza crust from oven. Top crust with 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese; let stand 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Meanwhile, combine Parmesan cheese, remaining mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, basil and pressed garlic; mix well. Slice tomatoes thin; arrange evenly over crust. Scoop cheese mixture over tomatoes; spread evenly. Bake 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
